Homemade Turkey Burger with Live Bio Healthy Sauce

Ingredients

Turkey mince 350g

Garlic Powder 1 Tsp

1 egg yolk

Pepper to season

Grated Mozzarella cheese 25g

Olive oil 10ml

For the sauce

2 tbs live bio yogurt (I use Glenisk 0% fat)

1 tbs smoked paprika

Method

Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees.

Separate the egg yolk and put aside.

In a mixing bowl add the Turkey mince, egg yolk, garlic powder and bind together till smooth. Season with Pepper.

Take out some of the mixture and shape into a patty.

Make a small hole in the centre of the burger with your finger and add the cheese.

Shape out another patty and bind on top of the burger so the cheese is now in the middle.

Add some oil onto a baking tray and put into the oven for 15 minutes.

For the Sauce

Add the Live Bio Yogurt (I use Glenisk) to a small bowl or cup and mix in smoked paprika.

You can get creative and add other spices and herbs to your liking. I kept it simple with just smoked paprika but you could make a lemon and herb sauce by adding fresh lemon zest and mixed herbs to the Yogurt instead of the Smoked Paprika.

Serving Suggestion

When the Turkey burgers are cooked, remove them from the oven.

Add the sauce on top and season with some pepper.

Goes well with a mixed salad with some homemade Potato wedges.

You can use any left over sauce as a dip for the wedges too.
