POWER BALLS

Updated: Dec 3, 2020

These tasty energy power balls are a great snack and pick me up.

Full of energy, only eat 2-3 of these as a quick snack during the day.

Eating too many healthy treats can also put you in a calorie surplus which will stop you burning fat so enjoy these sparingly.

Ingredients

1 tbsp Maple syrup

2 tbsp Coconut oil

10g Butter or Cashew butter

100g Cashew nuts

100g Walnuts

100g Dates or Figs

Sprinkle of Cinnamon

Method

Heat a pan and add coconut oil, when the coconut oil has melted remove from heat.

Add butter, Maple syrup, cinnamon and stir together. ( Add this to the blender later)

Add the Walnuts to a food processor and blend, remove and add them to a plate.

Add the Cashew nuts, Figs and coconut oil mix into a food processor/Nutri bullet and blend until a paste has formed.

Remove the mixture and roll into small balls. You should be able to make 16 - 18.

Roll the balls in the blended Walnuts on a plate.

Storage

Store in an airtight container.

These can also be frozen, allow to defrost for 25-30 mins before eating.
